He scored 31 runs in two innings during this game. He became the second-youngest player to represent Bihar in the Ranji Trophy as a result.

When Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored the fastest first-class century in September 2024, he created history. In a youth Test match against Australia in Chennai, he made his debut for the India Under-19 squad. Despite being run out in this match, he achieved a century in just 62 balls. This was the second-fastest century in the world and the fastest in Indian youth Test cricket.
