IPL Auction 2025 Live: For the
first time since 2022, the IPL's blockbuster auction will return, with a number
of well-known celebrities up for grabs.
All the 10 teams have retained their quota of
players and have released a number of star players from their side. Hence, some
of the biggest names in world cricket are part of the auction. Rishabh Pant, KL
Rahul, Shreyas Iyer and Arshdeep Singh are some of the elite Team India stars
expected to fetch the biggest money at the event. Overseas stars like Jos
Buttler, Phil Salt and Liam Livingstone are too expected to attract massive
bigs.
A total of 574 players have been shortlisted for
the mega-auction. Out of these, 366 are Indian players while 208 overseas
players are part of the list.
The oldest player on the trimmed list is James Anderson, 42.
The youngest player on the list is Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is 13 years old.
IPL Auction Live: 577 Players will be subjected to the hammer
In 2025, 577 players will be put up for auction at the
IPL mega auction. Three players, Jofra Archer, Hardik Tamore, and Saurabh
Netravalkar, were added to the final list after the BCCI previously revealed
the list of 574 players.

The list of players shortlisted for the auction now
includes Saurabh Netravalkar's name, which is a significant change.

At Rs 83 crore, Royal Challengers Bengaluru has a

The defending champion Kolkata Knight Riders, who
have a Rs 51 crore purse, did not keep their captain, Shreyas Iyer. They kept
Sunil Narine, Andre Russell, Rinku Singh, Varun Chakaravarthy, Harshit Rana,
and Ramandeep Singh.

The Gujarat Titans have a Rs 69 crore purse and have
kept three capped and two uncapped players. On a player with a cap, they can
use a single RTM card. The Gujarat-based team will continue to be led by
Shubman Gill.

On the retention day, Sunrisers Hyderabad kept five
capped players, and they took home a 45 crore rupee reward. Only one RTM card
remains. Heinrich Klassen was retained by SRH for an enormous Rs 23 crore. Pat
Cummins was retained for Rs 18 crore after taking a wage cut.

The Rajasthan Royals will bring Rs 41 crore to the
blockbuster auction. Five capped players and one uncapped player were kept by

kept in the uncapped category. CSK has one remaining RTM card.
